Flash Problem

Hello Insect Images Network,I am a 16 year old high schooler who is currently studying ants in colorado. I take many images and always have an issue with my flash, When I am taking continuous photos, it won't fire, which makes it hard for me to get good photos. Does anyone have a flash that they recommend that doesn't do this. This is an image taken not on continuous mode to show that the camera works, but I don't have any with the issue

New Entomology Outreach Website

Class Insecta is a free website, designed and maintained by me, that lets young scientists upload photos of insects to a digital collection, where the insects are identified by current and former members of Cornell University's undergraduate entomology club, Snodgrass and Wigglesworth.
