Bostrichidae specialists?

Hi all,

 

My name is Curtis Takahashi.  I work for the California Department of Food and Agriculture, Integrated Pest Control, Biocontrol group.  I am the lead scientist for our CAPS exotic woodborer survey.  Anyone know of anyone working on bostrichids?

    Hello Curtis,

    I would like to announce to you that Phyllom LLC has submitted a registration dossier to EPA for a new Bt strain SDS-502 called boreGone! which has activity against Coleoptera spp. including invasive wood boring beetles like Emerald Ash Borer and PIne Beetles. The active component is Cry8Da a natural protein crystal.

    If this is of interest then I would be pleased to provide more information.
