I my recent field work I found a plant which can attract the African invasive fruit fly B. invadens. I would like to work with a chemical ecologist or a chemist to help look at the chemical composition of this plant. The plant is used as a spice.

  • Hello

please note that Bactrocera invadens is the same species as Bactrocera dorsalis. See: "The status of Bactrocera invadens Drew, Tsuruta & White (Diptera: tephritidae) inferred from complete mitochondrial genome analysis"

  • Hello,

I am new to these networks, so I don't know if you can contact me directly.  Do you have an email address? Are you only looking for local chemical ecologists, or possibly other specialties as well?
