Videos: where are the Women in STEM?

Joanne Manaster, blogger for Scientific American asked "Where are the Women Science Creators on YouTube?" http://blogs.scientificamerican.com/psi-vid/2013/11/27/where-are-the-women-science-creators-on-youtube/. I had never really thought about this as much of the media that I consume is in the form of blogs or podcasts (audio).  And truth be told, there are more men doing science-related podcasts than women as well.  Embedded in this article is an excellent video by Field Museum YouTuber, Emilie Grasile.

One thing that I think may eventually give entomologists a leg up is the videography project (yea Richard Levine for promoting this!!) at ESA meetings https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOsDdSStbdt7ZebC0cMxcBg -- hope you subscribe!
