  • Respected Gail,

    Thanks for your kind reply.

  • Hello Gail K,

Thanks for sending me the link for travel grant award / assistance for ICE-2016, But unfortunately, i can not apply for those. Is there any private or company sponsorship for international scientists where we can apply for travel funds to participate in ICE-16.

In last annual meeting Entomology-2015, I was there in Minneapolis, but for ICE-2016, it would be difficult to get the travel funds again from parent country like Pakistan, who always in financial deficits regarding research & academics. The participation in ICE-16 for oral presentation is my dream. I would be grateful if you send me any other sponsored link please.

    Regards

    Dr. Bilal Saeed Khan (PhD)

  • Hi,  I'm very frustrated by the network page and you seem to have gotten it all sorted out.  I am trying to send a message to everyone in the Womens Network and don't seem to be able to do that.  I see from the Womens network page that there was activity 32 minutes ago, but I don't see where it was.  Obviously I'm not doing something correctly, but i also can't find any instructions.  i would really appreciate your help.  I am the EIC for JIS and am looking for women entomologists as subject editors.  Any help would be appreciated.  Phyllis.  phyllisw@agri.gov.il

  • These networks are just so full of amazing people and interesting work going on. My goal is to attend meetings now. I am not sure how to use these networks or the purpose they are intended for. Socializing, sharing works and studies? business links? Its all a new world out there to me and I will hopefully keep reading the posts and learn from that.   Patty
  • Hi Gail,

Yes, I'm trying to stay involved.  I am hoping to make it to Reno this year, and maybe even present some work on native bees.  Miss my ESA friends.  Working with some students at Penn State thru Christina Grozinger, and doing some things still at ARS.

  • Gail,

Great to hear from you again!  It seems that the ESA conference was quite a hit this year.  Hopefully our paths will cross again soon.

Best wishes in the New Year,

    John

  • Hey Gail.  The only photo that I've seen of me is on the ESA 2010 Annual Meeting website -- about half way down.

Enjoyed seeing you in San Diego!

    Cheers,

    gcb

  • Thanks! I made it for Laura Campbell, she has worked with me for the last two summers in the corn! I think it my favorite origami creation so far!
