I want to add your kind name in my papers as well as my paper reviewer and vice versa. Please let me know at dr.bilal.saeed@uaf.edu.pk, bilalentomologyuaf@gmail.com
which is your e-mail for send you the fleas literature.
I liked that paper. I have been attempting to get in contact with the curator at the Natural History Museum of Utah to ask if they had a database of their fleas. I am particularly interested in any fleas H. J. Egoscue may have collected since we've been trying to write a paper on pika natural history and parasites (focus on fleas) and have a big, black, gaping hole in our knowledge of the Great Basin area. Do you happen to have the email address of the curator or know if there is an electronic database available?
Thanks!
Please do.
I was able to track down Augustson's collection at the Los Angeles Natural History Museum and have clues about where to look for Stark's.
I don't know if it would be helpful to other researchers to report which entomology museums in California have flea collections but this is what I have found:
Bohart museum of entomology, Davis, CA (Future plans for electronic database)
Essiq museum of entomology, Berkeley, CA (Electronic database in progress)
Los Angeles Natural History Museum, Los Angeles, CA (Electronic database available)
California Academy of Sciences, San Francisco, CA (distant future plans for electronic database)
The Smithsonian/Walter Reed is also in the process of building their electronic database.
